	「スクール・オブ・ロック」のリチャード・リンクレイター監督が、キアヌ・リーヴスとウィノナ・ライダーを主演に迎え、実験的アニメーション手法で制作した話題作。「ブレードランナー」の原作者であるSF作家フィリップ・Ｋ・ディックのサスペンス小説「暗闇のスキャナー」を、一度撮影した実写映像をコンピューター処理してアニメーション化する手法で映像化した。
