アン・ライスが自身の小説「夜明けのヴァンパイア」を脚色、トム・クルーズ、ブラッド・ピット、スティーヴン・レイ、アントニオ・バンデラス、クリスチャン・スレイターといった錚々たる若手キャストを得て映画化したゴシック・ホラー。オーディオ・コメンタリー、インタビューなどの特典映像のついたDTS特別編。
画像は時折ソフトな感じがするが、ほぼシャープで詳細な高画質。色彩や肌色は自然。
音声はドルビーデジタル、DTS共に素晴らしい仕上がり。DTSの方がやや低音の広がりが大きい。既に発売となっていたノーマル版と比較すると、サラウンド効果、低音などが、微妙ではあるがより効果的になっている。 |
