舞台上で謎の死を遂げた美しいオペラ歌手マルヴィナ。彼女は狂信的な博士によって誘拐され、広大な邸宅で博士の音楽会のための調律を受ける。そんなマルヴィナを調律師のフェリスベルトが何とか救おうとするのだが…。
